WHITE COATS ARE COMING
As a young lad growing up in the UK I recall family members, and others, speaking often in subdued voices of a home for the criminaly insane, and violent criminals. The place if I recall went by the name of Broadmoor.
Here in Oz, not five kilometers from my house was a similar place. Built in the 1880's to house the insane, mentaly deficient, and persons of dubious personality disorders. That place has now gone, closed in the 1990's. I am now also of the opinion that Broadmoor may also have closed it's doors.
Of course with such closures there is a need to find suitable accomodation for any inmates still in residence, and homes for future persons in need. Today reading the news from UK and here in Oz I belive I may have found the place where such persons are now housed.
It is known as Parliament.
How do I come to that conclusion you may well ask?
In the UK the Parliament has passed a law to allow persons of alternative sexual persuasion to marry. A decline such as this in moral standards brought about the begining of the decline of the Roman Empire and the reign of the Pharos.
Then we have the situation here in Oz. It is being considered by the state parliament that the practice of blowing out the candles on a birthday cake at pre school or junior school be banned. There is the fear that by allowing such practice to occur may see germs being blown into the air for other children to catch!
A doctor has correctly ridiculed this idea, stating that wrapping young children in cotton wool is the worse thing one can do. By so doing they will never be able to develop a normal antibody system. We all need at times to be exposed to germs to develop this resistance to them.
Then the latest idea being considered by parliament. In an effort to reduce the risk of injury the only persons allowed to use a ladder should be those who are qualified to do so. Sale of ladders should be restricted to thosae who have demonstrated their competence by attending a suitable course on the use of such impliments.
Pardon me for being cynical but would this be a way dor government to raise additonal taxes?
From this information gathered today I am fully convinced that the lunatics are in full control of the Asylum.

Happy daze John in Oz.

White Coats
John, we have the same imbeciles over here trying the candle and ladder bit, we are supposed to have a Minister who was appointed to investigate and cancell all these so called safety laws, such as wearing goggles and helmets whilst playing conkers, but have not heard a peep from him so far. It all stems from the good ole USA where litigation is the norm for anything you can think of and our stupid 'Legal Aid' system encouraging spurious claims to make lawyers rich. Now legal aid assistance has been curtailed those in genuine need will not receive any because they are earning enough to pay taxes, only those who are on benefits, the people who have never paid taxes, will benefit from legal aid. It is surprising what help you can get when you are on benefits which is denied to the underpaid who just reach the tax threshold. Another thing that gets my goat is shops and restaurants which offer student discounts, these people have never paid taxes, are spending their parents hard earned money on booze and discos. The white coats have been in charge for a long time

Marriage
John when quite a few of our ministers have been out of the closet for some time now, and seem to follow the so called benefits of same sex marriage, also another is a self confessed Atheist, which under normal circumstances is that persons private business, but seem to see the same person in Church services quite often, especially at returned servicemens funerals. Also has no compunctions or beliefs whatsoever re marriage. Is it any wonder that the citizens believe they have good role models to follow. The gay mardi gras in Sydney now I believe the gay service men and women also the police have permission to appear in uniform. I have no feelings whatsoever regards the gay community, but do think it is folly to glorify the fact in front of all groups of people. As regards a Church Wedding between two consenting adults I find abhorent. As an article by a reader in a recent paper his final line was, if Adam and Eve had been Adam and Steve, the world would have zero population. Cheers John Sabourn

Fiascos
John am visiting north Tenerife for a month shortly and have done so for a few years. They hold a huge Carnival in Puerto de la Cruz every February, comparable with Brazil, takes hours to pass. Sadly I have witnessed this 'Family' themed carnival turn into a 'Gay' parade over the years, a lot of people (locals and visitors) left in disgust last year as they witnessed the gay fraternity walking along in womens clothing carrying huge inflateable penises alongside floats carrying young children, it was a transition too far for most of us. Being ex seaman we are not prudes but still do have values where our families and children are concerned and if the authorities want to let the gays parade surely they should have their own section and not be in the family section, or am I just old fashioned, probably get arrested for this email one day.
Like ***** it is a creeping disease, definately get arrested now!

A thought listening to Radio 4 yesterday , There is a part of marriage called consummation which is defined as ( an attempt at ) procreation , how do Gays and lesbians consummate their marriages , I have seen the film with the two girls , but wonder on the legal definition . If there is not one then the divorce laws are thrown onto a problem .

Same theme
With all the problems now with sex with children and everything which to a normal person is disgusting. I remember in my early years at sea the old theme that a certain eastern religions motto was "women are for procreation, small boys for pleasure." Whether this was true or not I would not like to say, but has always stuck in my mind. However we all know that children years ago were always a saleable commodity in the Eastern countrys and this was always in the open. People seem to take a long time to become aware of this trade going on for hundreds of years and most likely still is. Reminds me how long it took for the so called civilized world to become aware of the piracy which has always been there as long as I was at sea and probably a long time before. Regards John Sabourn.

well lads, as we have all had ample examples of gays(queers) on board mainly liners, especially UCL and Cunard, and in most cases have enjoyed their repartee and varied jokes, i think this gay marriage law is a load of crap.
i don't think the ones we knew would have been interested in it. it is i think, mainly for the theatricals, some of whom pretend to be gay perhaps trying to further thier careers, and perhaps a few politicians, who are a queer lot anyway. perhaps cameron is going to marry his liberal partner and make it a true coalition.

White Coats Are Coming.
Happy Daze ,John. On the Contrary, the politicians are wearing the white coats and it is us who are the insane, mentaly deficient and persons of dubious personality disorders that you describe. We must be mental for allowing these people to steam roller us into whatever they wish to bring out and we just sit back and accept it,we moan about it and thats about all. I would'nt say a man was mental who serves his time as an MP and then becomes a Lord and is paid £300 per day plus expenses to go and have a sleep, cheap meals and cheap drinks.
Regards.
