Ukraine & Gaza
So I wonder what way will the leader of the free worid respond after todays phone calls with Moscow. So much for he could end that war in a day. Also Israel have bomed the crap out of Gaza again several hundred killed. Strange that the Ben-Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party and Netanyahu’s Likud Party announced the return on Tuesday, hours after Israel launched its deadliest Israeli strikes on Gaza since a January ceasefire.
Well at least someone is happy that the genocide can continue again. As Trump said Israel has can rely on the USA to get the job done.

Re: Ukraine & Gaza
The fact is Notayahoo will not stop until all residents are either killed or moved out of Gaza then he can take it over for Israel.
The man says he is doing it to protect Israel, some story there.
Each time than man has been in charge there has been bloodshed.
Little different from the Russia Ukraine war.
Putin has no intention of walking away, he wants all of Ukraine.

Re: Ukraine & Gaza
#2 The Ukraine is somewhat different John. It is a war of Ideals , The Ukraine whilst had a president with the same ideology as Russia , when he was disposed it was a big affront to Putin , and he reacted in the expected manner. Sometimes so called democracy only applies when the apple cart is kept intact to everyone’s satisfaction. There are two sides to every story and the fact is that many of the populance of the Ukraine are holding onto their memory’s of Russia being their parent country. The trouble in Gaza going back in history goes back many centuries long before The USA even existed and goes back, and even further than that and goes back to when the Jewish faith was imprisoned into slavery what was then Babylon / Persia then Iran. Today it is a war of contrition. JS.

Re: Ukraine & Gaza
From the latest news it would appear Putin has made it quite clear, he wants Ukraine back in the Russian region by any means possible.
Only way Ukraine can get safety is to be allowed to join NATO, or a permanent security force in place.

Re: Ukraine & Gaza
Putin calls the Urainians Nazis. Well no one can argue that Ukraine did fight with the Germans against Russia in the WW2. Not really any surprise as to the reasons why they did.
Read the attached article
Millions of Ukrainians—men, women, and children—suffered and starved to death in 1932 and 1933 because of a manmade famine, which Solzhenitsyn pointed out “came without drought and without war.” Stalin and his regime systematically seized Ukraine’s grain and farms.

Old joe must have picked up the idea from the British.
They pulled the same stroke during the Irish Famine. 1845 /1852.
It was the potato crop failed but Irish farmers still produced plenty of food but it was sent to Britain as payment for unpaid rents to absentee land owners.

#4. John, if one wanted to be absolutely neutral and have to draw parallels with the past, one could draw upon the Cuban crisis which happened in our working life time and was a similar argument which Putin no doubt draws on for example. At the time Krushev in tit for tat with the US without going into long streams of explanations probably saw that by having missiles in Cuba would counter balance the missiles of a NATO on his own borders , missile technology was of much shorter range than it is today. Kennedy threatened that a nuclear war was possible if Russia did not remove. Krushev had the good sense to back away from this strong possibility . Putin as a youth was probably brought up with this part of Russian vetted history .Dont forget Putins knowledge of history is what was implanted in his mind as a youth, and dont forget he is only still,a youth in age compared with some of us. JS He also likely considers himself a good Patriot JS
I still have memories of doing the MN defense course during this period and the experts in the trade reckoned that two thirds of the Uk would be wiped out after the first nuclear raid.Think of what it would be today.,JS.

Re: Ukraine & Gaza
Looking at some footage today on TYV of what is left of some parts of Gaza.
What has been achieved one may ask?
Women and children dead by the thousands and the buildings turned to a grave site.
Any chance of resarecting that will take generations,
The killing is non dissimilatory and one wonders where the remaining HAMAS people are.
Notayahoo says he will destroy them, no way mate, such terror organizations will always reappear at a later date to seek revenge.

Re: Ukraine & Gaza
Well you could work it out John the average bricklayer lays 400 to 600 bricks a day. Ambrose held the record years ago by laying over 1000 but this was on a straight wall on proper rest levels which were subtracted from the time. The present record far supercedes this and is held I believe by a Norwegian. A few hundred bricklayers and a few thousand hod carriers will work wonders especially if they’re on piece work. JS

Re: Ukraine & Gaza
War on terrorism is a complete myth and death penalty for civilian men, women and children who cannot escape the genocide taking place in Gaza. What would you do if you saw your wife and children being killed by bombs and missiles?
The majority of men would take up arms in revenge..........the conflicts continue, the death toll grows.
