I think that's where the problem lies, where are the Hamas fighters? Israel knows their tactics of hiding behind civilians, it's their culture. They have different feelings about death, it's proven by all the suicide acts we see and hear about. Hamas will force their culture on men women and children against their will.
It would be a good thing for Palestinians to rise up against Hamas, but they won't because that culture is in them too. I would think they would get out of the awful place and stay out if the were allowed to, but they're not, I bet Hamas force them back to the rubble.
In most decent countries, women and children are evacuated to safer places, but not there.
It all kicked off by Hamas bravely killing hundreds of "innocent civilians" at a music festival, and kidnapping many of those still alive. Then they all wonder why Israel reacted in the way they did. They also hide in hospitals and schools, behind sick people and children, knowing that they will be killed before Hamas fighters.
Israel are looking after their own people, something Hamas ought to think about. I know who I blame for all those deaths.

Any one who thinks that Israel will destroy HAMAS really has no understanding how these groups operate. The next crop of HAMAS fighters have not been born yet. Israel do realise this and that is why they target Women and children. Not all of HAMAS fighters are hiding behind the civilian population, Israel will always use that as an excuse to carry on with the genocide.
By not releasing anymore hostages HAMAS are achieving one aim. They are causing civil unrest in Israel which are growing in strength.
People in the west need to accept the fact you cannot defeat an enemy who are not afriad of death.

The majority of Palestine people have only known occupation or being forced off their land to refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan, every part of their lives is controlled by Israel.
Occupation of Palestinian land is illegal, the building of Israeli settlements in the West Bank is illegal, apartheid is illegal, war crimes and crimes against humanity are illegal, genocide is illegal. The Gaza Strip and West Bank has been occupied since the six day war in 1967. The world has turned it's back refusing to condemn the situation, issuing fine words and statements but not prepared to take action in the world courts.

I think most people that live in the real world realise that it's never going to stop, due to historical decisions. But the likes of Israel are just making the best of a bad situation. We don't have to occupy anyone's land to get ourselves blown up, they'll come over and do it for nothing. It's the way these people are, and Israel have come to the conclusion that the only way to stop constant rocket fire, bombings, suicide bombers, and the rest of it, is to get stuck in harder than their enemy, which is not just Palestine, but the whole of the Arab culture.
You can blame who you like for any of life's dodgy deals, but at some stage, for the sake of peace, we have to try to forget history. We don't hear people that were affected by the two world wars, constantly bleating on about the Germans do we? Or the Romans? No, we try to get on with life.
Sometimes, culture can be the cause of everyone's downfall.

Israel is making a bad situation worse. Israel is an expansionist state and they wonder why palestanians get upset when there is a land grab going on. New settlements. How would anyone here react if some bully rolled up to your front door with a bulldozers . get out I am knocking your house down as I want the land to build myself a new house. Go and live somewhere else.

When Isreal pulled of Gaza in 1996, the left fields growing with crops, Hamas raised the crops to ground that is the mentality that you are dealing with.
A few months ago BBC was interviewing a Palestinian women, in a plush suburb, suddenly there was a woosh, the women ducked then laughed, and then the women said that's Hamas letting off rockets again..

Hamas are cowards and use the Pestinians as hunan shields.

From the latest news it would appear Putin has made it quite clear, he wants Ukraine back in the Russian region by any means possible.

Only way Ukraine can get safety is to be allowed to join NATO, or a permanent security force in place.

If Ukraine joins NATO, you should ask your relies to come to Aus, as it will mean the Third world war, There is no way on this earth that the Russian's and not only Putin, will allow that to happen, it will put NATO where they always wanted to be since the end of the second world war, right on their border.

Yes Des I agree with that comment.
But there needs to be a change in that region if peace is to be established, Putin is only interested in brining Ukraine back into Russia.
He will only agree to terms on his terms onl.

Global security is at some risk with Ukraine and Gaza being where they are just now,
It would only take one clown such as North Korea to drop a bomb of some sort then it will begin.

#9:in an all out war between nations there is no such things as innocent men , there are either traitors or conscientious objectors. Everyone man woman and child would have been knowledgeable of the rockets fired into Israel , probably/ hopefully is where some of Israeli intelligence got their information from for targets to reply to. Israel can take any action against neighbouring countries it wants to because it has the full support and protection from Uncle Sam in the White House. World leaders in the west criticise and condemn Russia for it's invasion and part occupation of Ukraine yet refuse to speak out over the continued genocide in Gaza. Fears of upsetting the US and losing exports and trade deals keeps them silent, money far more important than life.
