Again on the News sector, i do read a lot of these Articles, trying to keep up with the daily happenings , at my age i wonder why! LOL ??
Anyway reading this Article i am wondering if perhaps this is not Blown out of all context, by surmising these very high but to me, improbable figures of the new Omicron Virus?? I do know that it is supposed to be fast spreading but wow! Is this possible, and if it is just how many cases would there then be in the World at the rate ???
Talk of the Covid! Only thing that perhaps is in our favour is that it is said not to be so bad as the Covid! Lordy Lordy!

This hysteria that the TV and Press push every time there is a new type of infection should be stopped, Flue killed thousands in previous years but the press and Tv once they stated the fact stopped reporting it, with Covid they have had something on every day for two years.
I question Why.

Vernon, this is a classic example of the media hype attempting to scare the S*** out of every one.

A news item this morning on the international news station from South Africa.

So far we have seen only 1 in 10 in need of some form of medical assistance with the Omicron compared with 1 in 4 with Delta.
Also the number entering hospital so far is only about 1 in 100 compared with as many as 60 in 100 with some with delta.

This bit will not make the general media sites, good news never sells.

All this now seems to be getting a lot worse, and not only in the UK. I wonder where it will end ! Not something to be complacent about for sure! As Masks and Check In here were sort of scrapped Yesterday, i feel that it was too soon to relax on these things , seeing as the case Numbers are just going up and Up.
For me and her Indoors its just going to be the same , wearing our Masks when out and about, and Checking in with QR Code. Play it safe!

Hi Vernon.
We will be wearing our masks for the foreseeable future. Although this is a small town we have thousands come through for the winter sports and in the summer for the National Park.

Here in Victoria from today, no more QR at the doors apart from restaurants and beauty palors.

The chief health officer has said that with vaccination rates now at well over 93% there is little point in going on with regulations.
But masks are still mandatory and will be revued in mid January.

An article in today's D. M. questions the authenticity of the virus.
Many reports state that the virus escaped frome the Chinese Labs in Wuhan, something they deny.
Scientist studying the virus state that cell structure is like no known virus with a cleavage.
Many scientists believie that the virus is an made.
Makes you wonder what the truth is.
