I see the Lord Mayors whatsit is taking place this Saturday. Is there going to be another march allowed? Have we got any riot police as in other countries?

I shall be marching in London on Sunday 12th, if they decide to interrupt at the Cenotaph they will be picking on the wrong bunch

They did have Geoff, but it was probably disbanded due to only going after rioters and man-handling them in a manner that might cause them distress.

I notice in the news, that it's proving very difficult to escape from Gaza. Now I wonder why that is? who is stopping people from getting out through the Rafah crossing? other than Hamas of course. If ever there were refugees fleeing from war and danger, it's there.
    Where's me pencil?

The Egyptians are only letting foreigners out and not Palestians, Jordan refuses to take any Palestian refugees, having worked with Palestians I can understand why

Latest cry today on the news, claims of Genocide by Israel.

But at the end of it all, what will be left, mountains of rubble.
No where for those who remain to live, little food available and if Israel keep the borders closed what hope do they have in Gaza?

No doubt some parts of the West will chip in to help them, but countries such as Iran and Syria will be at the front of reorganizing any future resistance.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Ivan, I think the reason that Jordan will not be taking any Palestinian refugees is that the last time they took them it led to the 1970 civil war. King Hussein led the Jordanian Army against the Palestinian Liberation Front (P.L.O.) led by Yasser Arafat. The war was also known as Black September. After the 1967 6 day war many Palestinians relocated to Jordan and the West Bank of the Jordan River which culminated in the conflict and the ongoing problem of the palestinian refugees. Yasser Arafat and many of the refugees then moved to Lebanon which led to a similar conflict and the civil war there.

John, I spent a lot of time working in Jordan in the 1980's, mostly Aqaba, but some other locations as well, immigration strictly controlled, Palestinians not welcome. One of the more pleasant places where I earned my crust, not much there as compared to Eilat in Israel just a few miles away, the attitude to the land was vastly different, the Israelis could make the desert bloom, others had the attitude that Allah will provide, but he seemed to be a bit slow in doing it!

Apparently the marchers have said that they are going desecrate the 1 minutes silence on Saturday or Sunday or both., I take it the army will be out on the streets. Issued with live ammunition I hope.
This maybe a bit on the strong side, but the more I see the more it seems to me that ***** is not a religion. It is an indoctrination cult bent on world domination. Indoctrination is enacted by repetition. When they go to the mosque they all stand in lines and carry out the same movements and words. and have to do the same time and time again during the day. It could be said of Christianity when we go to church, but we have different hymns, different prayers etc. And if we pray privately we say different prayers.
Another thing I don't understand is their hypocritical condemnation of homosexuals. I believe they have a saying, A woman for children, a man for pleasure and a little boy for shear ecstasy. On a ship I was on, there was a contingent of trainees. It was Pakistani crew. As the ship was coming back to UK, the trainees were taken off. The mate told the crew that they could now spread themselves around the accommodation but they refused, informing him that they wanted to stay with their boy friends. Before I joined a ship in Karachi I stayed at the Beach Luxury Hotel !!!! Every morning I'd go down for breakfast and there'd be this big Arab with all the flowing robes sitting outside with about 10 young boys running about and sitting on his lap etc. I don't think they were his children. It was disgusting.

I would like to add to this thread a post called 'Britain what is next' Having listened to the opening speech of the S.N. P. Humza Yousaf last week at the party annual conference. Where he ranted on and on about all positions of power being in the hands of Whites. Several Labour M.P.'s condeming the actions of our government and its stance on Hamza and the Israeli conflict. Then yesterday I read that the police commisioner of London is asking for officers from other forces to help police the Pro Gazza/Hamza protesters who will be marching at the same time as the Remembrance day Parade. Having seen protesters last week in Whitehall using the cenotaph as a flag pole and spitting on our Flag. I then wake up this morning to read that councilors called Afrasiab Anwar and Mahmood Asjad are resigning in Burnley and other areas after calling for Keir Starmer to step down for refusing to back a cease fire in Gazza. The Men involved Have said that Sir Keir has not stood up for Labour values. What does the future hold for the generations to come????
