Default Is This The Sign Of Things To Come

Went for a walk this morning, 30/12/13/ Met John Pruden, He was also out blowing the cobwebs off wind and rain but as we both agreed you have to get out the house. The first guy we ran into within minutes informed us of an armed robbery just taken place in Bootle, Bookmakers, Left John to walk his dog in the park I walked in the local chemist, Full of young drug addicts awaiting there daily dose of methadone filling there pockets with half the shelves,, Walked another 100 metres or so with the misses to the local store fresh fruit and veg, Bugger me 3 lads in there 20s holding the shops security guard on the deck while a fourth filled the boot of his car with all kinds of freebies. No way was any onlooker going to get involved and you cant blame them, Done our little shop started the walk home as we passed the local train station the worker Merseyrail came running out the station have you seen 2 teenagers pass you they have just snatched a womans handbag on the platform. I certainly don't condone any of these actions. But desperate people carry out desperate measures. We are a few days away from rolling out the welcome mat for 1.000s more immigrants. I don't think many if any will be moving in around my part of the world. To finish I went into my local butcher shop the girls who run it were telling us that they had had young lads and girls filling there boots in there shop all over xmas. I have said this before unless this coalition do something for the young people who are being sanctioned and going without welfare benefits for up to 6 months the bloody roof is going to come off not only my City but all the major Cities in the U.K. JOBS Mr Cameron for our youth that pay a wage and not a zero hour contract on the minimum wage. Or this is what is in store for our diminishing police force and innocent people like ourselves. Worrying Times Regards Terry.

#i...Terry, Your post leaves me in despair. Every single low life you encountered this morning appears to have been dragged up. I honestly doubt even if offered a job this type would except it. No back bone , no morals , no nothing.
Regardless of age there are those who think the world owes them a living and would not work in a convulsion. Many I'm sure have met a few who will "do casual" for cash in hand whilst receiving from the state with the other.

As for the drug users and their methadone don't get me started!! They should have used the brains they were born with..........Right that's me off my soap box now.........and no, I don't feel any better Though if I had been let loose on the three holding the security guard or caught the two stealing the handbag THAT would have made my day

    Terry,
Thank you for you post, unfortunately this is life as it is today and I only wish that you had three people with you on your walk to witness what you saw 1
David (Call me Dave). 2. Nick (I speak Dutch so people dont know what i'm saying about them ha ha) and 3.Ed (Mr. Marx has all the answeres). Their alter egos might as well be The Three Stooges ,who probably would do a better job anyway.

I am still of the opinion, that everyone should retire at 65, That way, instead of this rubbish Government complaining about not having money to pay pensions, they could let people retire at a sensible age, and give the jobs thus created, to those claiming housing, council tax, and other benefits. It has to be cheaper to pay a pensioner a pension, than pay a family maqn all sorts of benefits, he would then also be paying his way by means of tax, national insurance etc, which is not being paid at the moment. Why can't MP's see beyond the trough?

Marian, Replied to your prvt message totally understand and agree with the anger and despair in your post. Just an example 3 weeks before xmas my youngest sons girl friend 24yrs old secured her first full time job, Carphone warehouse, Zero hour contract minimum wage. She was paid on the 24th December gone she had worked 24 hours which was all they could give her after tax she picked up about £125 for her trouble hardly a great incentive for any youngster. I hate drugs on the streets and have always believed class A Drugs should be legal and distributed in a clean and controlled environment, It has worked in Switzerland were the crime rate has plummeted you will never stop these drug users getting there drugs by whatever means. And I hope for my 7 grand childrens sake it is a dying trend but until the dealer is taken off the street I am afraid not while there is a quick buck to be made and no police force to tackle it its the only option. Have a great New Year Marian with your family very best regards Terry.

John, We can both remember when we started out in life we have known each other all our lives even related through your darling Barbara, You no as well as I do how many immigrants there were working our local area 40/50/yrs ago the jobs went to the local youth leaving school whatever your choice, Its a very different ball game today m8 As for the next influx of migrant workers ? You no as well as I do how the local kids out there who want work and a future feel about it. The plain truth is John they should not be allowed into our country { NO ROOM IN THE INN } Regards John Terry.

I still cannot understand how a bunch of social misfits in Parliament can overide the views of 65,000,000 people,
We do not want immigration, that is Not a rascist statement, it is because we are FULL , Migrants work for less money, and the employers take them on instead of local lads and girls.
They tell me that they enrich our society, I have only seen a decline in wealthfor the working class and an increase in Poverty.
A decline in Social Services and Health. I have just had to wait 35 days just to get an appointment to see my Doctor for skin Cancer, We are full up they said. too many patients,
They tell me they give more to us than they take out. I have only seen huge gangs of migrants hanging around my town doing Nothing but cause trouble and take benefits. I cannot hear a word of English spoken when I go to town, only eastern european languages and of the Kyber.
So when are the people of Britain going to wise up???
    Cheers. Brian
