Hello Angela,
My name is Gerald Bond and my great uncle is also William James Heatley. He is my grandmother's brother. He was of course unmarried and they were very close (there were 6 other siblings). I have some personal information including a photograph, a letter to my grandmother dated 1917 from "SS Mount Snowden" docked at Marseilles, a family memorial card and a family tree of the Taibach Heatley's to 1803. William Heatley joined the SS Isleworth at Port Talbot with Philip Rees from Woodfield Row to replace 2 seamen who had left the vessel at Cardiff - it's previous port of call. I also have some other photographs of the Heatleys. Please let me know if you are interested.

Official No. 96587 built 1889 renamed Otaru Maru No.3 - wrecked off Somalia
Official No. 106607 built 1896 (previously SS Eversley) - sank by U-boat 1918
Official No. 132572 built 1911 - wrecked off Novia Scotia.
