    Default Merry Christmas all

hi My name is Ceri I joined MN in 1967 started with Geest. Shell, booker, saline, back to geest.

I have a question my daughter has applied for some Merchant navy service medal cost her some £58 i just found out today. Do people actually wear these? Well under a foot of snow would rather be in the Windward Isles now :-)

The Merchant Navy medal, is Merchant Navy Service Medal £34.50 full size
and the minature is, Merchant Navy Service Miniature Medal £13.50p Award Productions on google. The full size is worn during the day and after 6pm the small one is worn.
These are usualy worn on the Merchant Navy Day parades. and similar functions.

If she paid £58 for the medal she was ripped off
