Re: A Merry Christmas
Lou, you saw the worst of it along with two of my Aussie mates, Bill Flowers and John Parkes. Thanks be that you all survived to live happy family lives. Over twenty years I enjoyed the best of it but for you and those like you that would not been. During the sixties seventies and eighties it was still fresh in the minds of those old Singapore/Malayan hands that went back to work when it was all over.

Re: A Merry Christmas
Hi Lou.
You are here to remind us what it was like Lou, people forget to easily, it may have been nearly 70 years ago but the young people today should never think it wont happen again. Look after yourself and have a great time with your family this Xmas.
Cheers Des
PS As I'm writing this we are having a tremendous hail storm, Xmas is coming.

Re: A Merry Christmas
Lou for most of us i doubt if we could even begin to imagine how you and the others felt, but thankfully you survived to enjoy many more and I hope this year is a very good one for you and yours.
