Hi one and all just registered today !
Well never thought this would be the shape of the world now when I first signed on with Portline in november 1975 on the MV PORT LAUNCESTON as an engine room boy my how times have flown by..All the good times are still almost as clear in my head like they happened last week tho Im gettin a little worried about senility setting in soon and wiping the memories clear.Mad Mad times too many to mention here today but if anyone out there recalls sailing with Portline between 1975 -1981 and remembers me feel free to contact me meanwhile I,m gonna have a good old trawl round this site.. good health One and all!

Hallo sorry this is so late and thanx for the contact..in reply to your question if i recall he worked in the catering dept as a mess man/ steward was about 5ft 7" tall dark brown hair slim angular face and a nice guy..is that him?quite a lively guy.think i might have only done the one trip with him tho about 1978? its the old grey matter that dont work as well as it used to..guess he must be about 49/50 yo by now hope this helps

MICK_ A HERE GOT ON THIS SITE IN 09 HAD LOTs OF ENJOYMEMT. I SHIPPED OUT WITH PORT LINE MOST OF MY TIME I FOUND IT A GOOD LINE, NOT BAD GRUB THATs THE THING TO FIND OUT BEFORE SIGNING ON, I SOON FOUND OUT OR IT WAS BACK DOWN THE PLANK WITH THIS JOLLY JACK TAR[ HA HA
