william,-bill,-billy,- bilbo reid
hello, I was at the vindi in 64. my first ship was Wilson line's "cavallo" next "southern coast" followed by "black prince"- "merchant prince"
and "defender". at least I THINK that was the order that they were in although I believe that there may have been another from ellerman lines
but it seems that my memory needs a good jolt these days, anyone else out there have any memories of these ships during the mid sixties ,? I would love to swing the lamp about those days.

Re: william,-bill,-billy,- bilbo reid
Hi William
My first ship was the Cavallo March 1957 and I did 6 trips on her after leaving the Vindi. I was galley boy and must have peeled many tons of potatoes.
Had a great experience visiting many places in the Med and Scandinavia, lots of happy memories.
Regards
Chris
