Men of the British Piper
Hi to you all,
My name is Norm Foley,my father was in the merchant navy.
His name before jumping ship in NZ, was Gorden Francis Davies
one of the ships he served on was the British Piper this was around 1952.
He was on a few others as well.People I remember from this time was Malcolm Evans,Dixie Dean
and one I knew as Blondy.
Would anyone know of other ships my father served on and if anyone who also worked at Roxbough
dam in NZ from about 1953 to about 1956,as I have fond members of this group of men.
Kind Regards to you all
Norm Foley
