trying to put together 4 hazy years at sea 1969-1973 catering dept.
Emprees of Canada, Historian,SA Vaal, Castle boat, Port Townsville,Port Launceston, M.V. Cambria, El Lobo.
Can any one recall stewardwss overboard (lost at sea) on one of the castle boats

Welcome aboard, give it a little time someone might remember the incedent of the stewardess overboard, quiet a few on the site sailed on the Castle boats Vernon may came up with an answer.

I dont know about the Castle Boat one but when we were on the cruises ,on the Empress of Canada , coming back from the caribean a laundry maid went over around hatteras , and the next cruise her lover went over about the same spot .anyone remember that trip .

Hi Nev, not being considered CPR cruising material I wasn't there, but I heard about it, and it was well discussed in the boozers in Liverpool, Re: Castle Boats there was some strange things went on in them over the years, I think Vernon will be the man to answer Charlie's question.

talking of those that went over the side, does anybody remember a BRS called Sandy ( cannot remember his secound name. used to live in Dover when not at sea) who disapeared one night off the P&O RMS Arcadia around 1956, i believe it was after leaving Capetown for London?
