Re: Solar panels
James, we have similar figures here, but when you dig deep it nis not as good as it sounds.
We were told by the gov about how much solar they are producing.
But when the figures came out from the power companies it showed that the majority comes from roof top solar.
Gove figures will be those that sound good even when not.

I'm doing a little research, and it took me to solar panel installers ireland. Well, I thought those people barely had sun there, but they still knew how to get a lot of power from it. I think you can also find some suggestions.

Re: Solar panels
My feed in rate now is so good I have over $1400 surplus on my account.
Bu there are more nations now considering other means of power.
Italy is considering going back to nuclear, and many others are considering it.
The long term cost of wind and solar is coming home to roost.
The public now understand that the life span on these is limited and will be constantly in need of replacing, at a cost of course.
EV sale s are on the way down with a number of companies such as BMW, VOLVO, FORD putting the brakes on building and Toyota is also on the way down saying that the expected take up of Ev will only be at a max of 30% of market.
Hybrid are by far the most popular form of Ev.

Got 4 solar panels on my boat for total 560 watt. Great when anchoring in the middle of nowhere.IMG_20221113_144518.jpg

sound.
also comforting to know your bilge pump is unlikely to lose power supply if you dont manage to get down to your boat for some time.
