Re: Channel 4 Partygate
James it was/is a work of fiction, its not a documentary, so is probably skewed, just an observation not having watched it, and no desire to.

Re: Channel 4 Partygate
What I saw of it whilst flicking through, it looked like some kind of drama, which of course, would have been made for entertainment, with actors and such.

Channel 4 describe it as a docudrama made for entertainment. Maybe Allegra Stratton resigned for no reason?

Of course they did, had to cover their ass legally, like most docudramas there would be a lot of questionable embellishment to suit the political views of the writers

Re: Channel 4 Partygate
Well maybe the Sue Gray report is pure fiction as well. Strange how several party members were fined £50 and Joe public several got hit with life changing fines.
Sure we all know there were no parties at number 10 and absolute fiction those party invite emails.
Anyway if some did not bother to watch the programme why comment?

James no one is saying there were NO parties, like everyone I am entitled to an opinion, there were enough preview trailers to allow one to form an opinion that it was not to their taste. If you believe everything you saw, well that is your perogative. As usual you jump in with both feet anxious to get your point across without fully reading or understanding a post, but bless your little cotton socks, we've got used to you

Re: Channel 4 Partygate
It's not about watching that kind of junk, it's more about why we don't watch it. I watched Eastenders, much nearer the truth.

Re: Channel 4 Partygate
Keith , I think there are a few wind up merchants on here. Just think how boring life would be with out some one somewhere winding people up. Nothing wrong with a good wind up just as long as it does not go to far or ever gets malicious.
Now Johnny I know you are on a wind up, Eastenders. Certainly is not happy hour is it. As Ivan says there are enough previews about Eastenders and other soaps to form an opinion. Soap time I spend in the kitchen either prepping or cooking the even meal. Emmerdale /Emmerdale Farm never the same since Annie Sugden and Jack left.anniesugden-2.jpg
