Victoria, when they began in the Uni the head of department, an ex matron, told me this was not a good thing.
It prevents good nurses from entering the profession as they may not be good achedemicaly.

So it began and said the drop our rate was horrific.
The course is now four years, two in the class, one in a hospital doing all the various shifts, then the last back at Uni.

Before they can enter a course they must undergo a phycology test to establish if they are suitable.

Melbourne Uni has the school of medicine, for almost ten years they failed to fill all the places, improved now.

But the intake each year is about 140, of which only about 60 will qualify, little wonder we are short of medical persons.

But getting off at Redfern, that of course as you may have heard has another meaning.

Minister says he hopes NHS staff get 'appropriate' pay.

    Common sense may prevail ?

Facing the Health and Social Care Committee today, Sir Simon said the money had been there previously for a larger raise.

'But as you say, at the time, the working assumption was that there would be available 2.1 per cent for the costs of the agenda for change pay group in 2022, together with the overhang from the 2021 elements of the multi year agenda for change pay deals.

Victoria, as you may be aware things have changed greatly over the years.

Back in 1965 I had a Hernia op, in hospital for two weeks, second one in 2013 in for half a day.
1980 Varicous veins done in for five days.
Friend just had hers done, op at 10 am home by 2.30.

Was the first one the result of your dancing on the table in the Del. Monica John. There was no need to try and impress Helen. As long as you fed her the Ginger Brandy she was happy. JS

Got a penny for the guy in the 50's, bob a job later and nurses now offered a pittance.

    Sorry mate, no such luck.
But did on occasions fall over in there, the lighting was not the best at times and often you would find furniture blocking the gang ways.
My story and am sticking with it.

Seems your premier also fell down the stairs due he claims to bad lighting. How are you going to manage as he is expected to be hors de combat for a few months. ? Imagine I am a member of the press asking you the same question. Cheers JS

Well he did say he likes to get on the beers.

But though we wish him no harm we just hope he does not return, he will not be missed. Could be away for nine months!!!!!!!!!!!

I see you have an election in WA Saturday, they say the Libs will be cactus!!
