Re: Shrinking
When my grandad passed away aged 95 my dad gave him a final shave , when he next went to see him dad
said his whiskers had grown, but it is in fact really the flesh shrinking not the whiskers growing.

Re: Shrinking
There is a formula for this change in shape.
The change is related to the effects of the mother in law on your life, multiplied by the amount of food eaten over and above needs.
Sub formula is the Chinese effect, that is when sizes shown have been converted from Chinese to English with some very suspect numbers.

Never tried it myself but he was very tall for a Chinese man!!
Then the blood rushes to the head so what do you do then?
Could become a politician, would fit well with that.

No joke but in the Western suburbs of Melbourne some years ago there was a doc known as doctor how long.
Workers would even come across the city to get a sick note from him. He would write them for as long as you wanted.
Think he is now retired though.

Re: Shrinking
We had a similar practice here in the late 70s.
If you wanted a sick note go to Doc "A"
If you wanted a shoulder to cry on and some sympathy go to Doc. "B"
If you really wanted to know what was wrong go to Doc. "C" (only he was a bit abrasive and very direct, doubt if he ever signed a note).
