Did I hear it right on the news that President Trump said Boris would make a great prime minister? bit of a kick in the teeth for Theresa May that considering he was to have dinner with the PM last night. Also did he say looking at the UK's white paper on Brexit and how it foresees the UK's relationship with the EU it will make it very difficult for the USA to do a trade deal with the UK!!!! so much for the special relationship.

I can remember when the Sun first came out as a broad sheet and gave the appearance of being a sensible paper.
But Trump, like him or not is the elected president of the USA and he may at times say things we find odd, but he Is a business man and will do anything he thinks will do good for USA. Pity your gov does not think the same way, from what we hear here in Oz you will be stuffed by EU on BREXIT with the PM proposal.

Maybe Trump is right, a free trade deal with USA, we have one here in Oz, would be good for UK after BREXIT, but if your PM stuffs up no deal.

As for rent a mob, pity they did not protest about other matters such as the EU immigration rules which has seen the UK flooded with unwanted.

there is a place were you can get an official paper copy of your ships.....i used it a few years ago ......after i skinned out in wallaroo my book was back in shields when i had my committee.......the place i got my paper copy from was i believe something to do with a london adress and a guild hall ...it later arrived via cardiff ......someone will have the correct address.....whoops sorry the london address was for voyage cards .....the other for list of ships was from cardiff........regards cappy

In reply to post 145 samuels,can't the moderators get the message ,that certain members get fed up with the bickering that takes place and the damage it does .Threats from them seem to be ignored,I bet it costs the site many genuine contributors who in the end lose patience and leave,why so few spoil it for the rest of us.

There's always one sadly, or two or three. But, apart from the odd hiccap - generally, the site
has been quite a happy ship of late and is both growing and I do hope that Samuel #145 continues to
enjoy it.... with us.
