Re: Tattoo
I may again be wrong but during the national service era which was 2 years, did the RN if you wanted to go into that service you had to do 3 years. Seem to remember there was a bit of confusion and the national service title may have had a different title for the RN. A friend of mine who finished up a trawler skipper was telling me one time rather than put him in the Navy they put him in a highland regiment, and he did 3 years in any case one of them in the glasshouse, would not accept the discipline and used to throw his rifle at the drill sergeant. #27... knew I would get a sensible reply Cappy even though I gave you the opening for Rhino horn and all the different aspects that could be achieved with powdering it down. They brought out all the cancer scares at that time associated with nicotine so I was looking after her health, also decimal coinage was out and I couldnt find anyone to give me the correct coinage value. Sorry she fell over but she did overdo it with the gin bottle her excuse being it stopped her for getting up the duff especially when she jumped into a hot bath. Give her Robs love. Cheers JWS.

Re: Tattoo
Talking of things Scottish, we were were'nt we!
I see that a car has traversed Scotland powered soley by the by products of whisky waste. Scotland has 750,000 tonnes of Draff (Kernels of barley), 2 Billion litres of potale (water used in distilling process) per annum which together with some other non oil related products produces biobutanol which can be used in petrol and diesel engines without them being modified.
No mention of what effect the exhaust fumes will have on the population, but the Whisky industry may just be cutting its own throat, because if you can get pizzed just walking along the street there is no sense in buying any of the stuff.
Won't need your weed anymore Les!

Bill all ships are Grey Funnel Line to Les, as he only sees things through a grey mist, they are the ones he probably earned his 'Distinquished Reports' on, of which he is so proud, as according to the 'Lore of Les' you are only a real seaman if you have had a DR, VNC, VD and bar and preferably all three whilst letting down your shipmates
