mine went to sleep a month ago barb would hoover him often when I could not groom him he broke my heart when he went and knowing I will never get another dog after having rescue dogs for years is the extra kick in the nads the house seems empty without him people ask me every day where is he because we were always together?? jp

Loosing a pet, be it a cat or a dog is no different to a death in the family. They become part of our life and I can understand not wanting to take on another.
