Brought one of the tea sets back for mum, so many years ago. Think my sister, the one who does not speak to me, may have it now.

Had a butterfly tray, but dropped it one day, the glass broke and the bloody butterfly took off. Never could trust the Chinese stuff.

Hi shipmates, I sold my butterfly tray years ago at a tidy profit, but I still have my picture from santos , Palm trees and the sea made out of butter fly wings its on the wall in front of me, it reminds me of my time in south america raw sugar was the cargo? the smell still there in my mind ,the shipmates the rum and the fun, Happy times !!! How many cro, sellows to the pound ? I sold my mac {Gannex} could have been the first one out there? for a wallet full of them, had a great time on them? still got a few left, had an auction for the mac on a street bar, my santos picture makes me feel young again. I am not selling this one. it cost me some of my mac money.

Can anyone recall those very intricate cork carvings that you brought in small glass display cases that if of a maritime theme would have sand in their base. Cannot remember where I brought them but I guess it must have been out East somewhere, possibly in the Friendship stores in China.

Think this may leave me open to ridicule.
I collected small dolls from various places.
And no John. I don't play with them.
    We maybe on weekends.

Anyone still got a Toledo Steel letter opener from the Bum Boatman at Las Palmas, always good for a pressie, mind you it was more like a dagger which would get you locked up these days if found on you !!!
