#8 Louis Thought I read somewhere there were going to be no charges against him apart from him making bad decisions, which most of them do in any case. Cheers JWS

#10. One up on you there John, she asked me what I was doing now, and said I was on a supply come DP survey vessel. Oh she said that will be better for you. I didn't last very long as upset someone on the rig could never find out who, but was shifted after a couple of trips to another vessel. If I had found out who it was could have threatened him with telling the Queen what a shifty character he was, that would have put a squid up his ass. Met Mountbattens think it was his grandson or nephew Lord someone or other at the oil expo in Southampton about 81/82 he asked too many smart questions for me and was pleased when he went as was running out of answers. Charles and Dianna you could of cut the atmosphere with a knife, I quite liked Charles however and found him easy to talk to. As said worked with HMS Bonnington a couple of times after he left the Navy. What year are we talking about re the nuclear sub. if was in the early 80"s had the privilege of sailing for a short period with her commander, a Commander Littlejohn, he was in charge of a test in the Loch Fyne area, I wont say too much as already in another post about the exercise and don't want to be sued. Commander Littlejohn however must have left the Navy a long time ago by now. I read somewhere he was scooped up by the Americans as an advisor to their underwater warfare programs. Cheers JWS

Unfortunately John that could be the likely outcome, a slap on the wrist and a promise not to do it again.

I stopped getting letters and calls from the Palace when I asked about Harry having a full head of red hair when all the other royal men were as bald as coots.

Just found the other day a letter from Clarence House from a lady in waiting dictated to her from the Queen Mother. My Mother used to write to all sorts of people., and had been in service in a lot of the big houses of the times, and served the Queen Mother when she was Lady Bowes Lyon. This letter was on her 100th Birthday, the Queen Mother that is. The Queen Mother was always open to people communicating with her and she was another sad loss to the Nation. My mother died all of 10 years ago and just got round to looking through some of the paperwork she left. My mother was the elder of 3 sisters and the next sister down was always writing to Edward Heath, I didn't particularly like him, but if had been me I would of had her arrested for annoyance. JWS

Have just been to the barbers this morning john, and always surprises me to see the colour of hair. The only good thing is they don't ask to see my pension card anymore, as get 4 dollars knocked off. Good job there is still hair there as can feel the bumps on head getting bigger. There are 4 female barbers where I go to so puts the mind on other distractions. One thing you wont have to worry about partings. Cheers JWS

One of the great mysteries of life has never been explained. Why does the hair on your head disappear only to reappear later growing in your ears ?
Shaving ears is not easy sometimes I have to go out with bits of toilet paper stuck to my vents.
