#20, Hope this helps Louis
To compliment the extra hair also growing out of your nose and eyebrows. This is to give you a more balanced look.
So you will get tickled more easily at the things young people say.
To scare away the young women so they will go for younger men.
To give your wife something to nag you about. "Honey, how many times do I have to tell you to trim back the hair in your ears? You want to kiss me when you look like a porcupine? " This is to keep you humble so all of that wisdom you have gained through experience will not go to your head.
To help you get conversations going with your grandchildren.
"Grandpa, why is there hair growing out of your ears?"
So you will have a good excuse for not listening to your wife as she chatters.
For camouflage when deer hunting in the early morning
For hubby I use a battery operated nose trimmer to eradicate excess eyebrow, ear & nose hair Louis. There is always a hint of trepidation about him before I commence,..... [which I rather enjoy]
. Tweezers now are a not an option after one misfortunate yank in the past, renders that choice as obsolete

Re: Queens visit
Marian your depth of knowledge never ceases to amaze me, even Einstein didn't know the answer, he used to comb the ear hairs over his head to cover the bald patch.

#Him and quite a few others Louis, Messrs Trump & Scrargill to name but two.
Another bug bear of mine is the sorry excuse of a limp stragily ponytail regardless of age or hair colour. Unless a man has an abundant mane like Lord Heseltine or an Italian lothario worn loose, why bother
Bald heads, or numbers 1,2,3 haircuts are most attractive too
"Heilan Jigs" disperse into room 101.
Sincerely hope I haven't trod on anyone's toes here, excuse the pun

One things for sure, you haven't stood on my pony tail. Also the tweezer method definitely not recommended unless you want to clear mucus from your eyes!

Re: Queens visit
# 23 The Donald and King Arthur share the same problem, they cannot go out on a windy day, even the strongest hair spray will not keep the strands stuck down to the scalp. The only person I can think of who managed this was Ronald Reagan on a windy day his face flapped about but his hair never moved.

Re: Queens visit
Because he didn't care and wore a hair net. Anyone remember wearing mens suspenders, someone bought me some years ago for Xmas, I passed them on to someone else for a birthday present. Tried wearing mens tights one winter in the North Sea to try and keep warm, the idea didn't last, a lot of others wore wet suits as a lot of the time were working waist deep in water. Later standing on the after controls backing up to a rig used to say there but for the Grace of God go I. As someone getting washed up the deck from the stern roller used to shake their fist at the bridge and I used to give them the 2 fingers in reply. Used to think then of the sunny days in the tropics not a care in the world... Cheers JWS

Princess Anne had a nose bleed.

Re: Queens visit
My old Aunty was 100 years old and got a Birthday card off the Queen.
The following year when she was 101,she got another card off the Queen,
She was a bit upset, as she said "The Queen has the same frock on as last year. I thought she would have got changed"
