If he"s the big tall one in that program about driving cars, don't like him on sight too full of himself and arrogant with it I should imagine. Usually switch to another channel if same bloke I am thinking about. JS

Same one John. None of the appro links would transfer. Yesterday he was suspended because of a difference of opinion with one of the show's producer's. However I forgot he had written a scathing piece on the good folk Liverpool. So perhaps not the site to ask

Didn't know that, have only seen him a couple of times on TV and always switched over or off. Took an instant dislike to his manner, have met thousands of people during working life and can usually sum up someone in a few minutes, only took seconds with same bloke. So feelings correct for once. I never even knew he wrote for some newspaper, that is probably where he gets his arrogance from then. Was a similar one here I posted about who tried to belittle a master working in the Mexican Gulf. I wrote to the ships owners and to the TV program expressing my contempt for them, received a thank you letter from the shipowner, nothing from the media which didn't expect in any case as they think they are above public opinion. As is lost in posts somewhere the following is answer I got from Ships Owners, the reporter was and is a very similar type to your young stuck up one. ": Dear John,
    MERMAID VIGILENCE- "SUNDAY NIGHT" PROGRAM
Thank you for your letter dated 4th. March 2012 in relation to the Channel 7, "Sunday Night" program about our Company of the same date.
Can I firstly say it is quite heartening that people like you can see the programme for what it is and prepared to say something about it.
As you can imagine I was personally and professionally appalled at the level of bias in the reporting and we have written a letter of complaint to Channel 7. The selective editing and leading questions by Ross Coulthard did not in any way give a fair and balanced report on the facts as they pertained to either our Master, our Company or the events which unfolded during Hurricane "Nate".
As you point out in your letter, it was a very difficult decision for our master to take but we believe it was the right decision in the circumstances to protect the lives of the 37 crew and passengers on board the "Mermaid Vigilance".
We are confident that the official investigations will support the actions and decisions of our master.
I have scanned your letter and sent it to the master of the Mermaid Vigilance so that he knows there are intelligent people in other parts of the world who are supportive of his actions.
Once again thank you for taking the time to write to us and I wish you all the best.
    Regards........................................... ...............

The only way to combat some of these loud mouths and bullying self opinionated not too bright media low lifes is to make them aware that their so called opionated untrue reporting in many cases, is not too conducive to the well being of public opinion, and as their livelihood depends on such make them and their bosses aware of such. Freedom of speech fortuanetly is a two way street. JS

He probably laughs all the way to the bank, on the premise that no publicity is bad publicity.

Thumping someone (if that is what he did, only surmise at the moment) is a criminal offence, and has a custodial sentence with it, however our recent deputy prime minister from the labour party, got away with it, and Clarkson is a friend of Rebecca Brookes, so she can show the way to get off, KT

John Prescott didn't get away with anything,no charges were made, would you make charges against someone who thumped you after hitting him with an egg,he deserved all he got. Many think it's a hoot todo this and they don't expect the person to retaliate,he underestermated JP I'm afraid.
