Hi John
I was on the after docking bridge on the `Empress of France` in November 1958 in a blizzard, anchored off Quebec. The freeze up came a month early that year, In two hours whilst ringing the bell for the fog signal due to the density of falling snow, In the two hours four feet of snow fell on me. It was unbelievable. We had left Montreal, the last ship out, Seven ships frozen in for the winter with Ice breakers taking us down to Quebec.
So that kind of snow fall is not unusual over there.
Cheers
Brian

Re: Global Warming
Remember the winters of 1947, 1962, and a few others, then tell the world about global warming. But now the words used are Climate Change, a change of name may have more effect they think!
In the 1980's we had a hole in the ozone layer so stop using CFC, now we know the hole comes and goes with the seasons. Methane is the problem we are told by scientists, and where does the most come from...Ants, yes ants there are so mnay all having a crap and a fart so we must get rid of the ants!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy daze John in Oz.
