EU elections
I am getting junk mail through my letter box from all sorts of strange people i have never heard of before, in fact , now is the only time i hear from these EU, Mps. what a bloody cushy number, i have no idea what they do, because after election day i will never hear from them until next time.My local MP does hold a surgery, and writes articles in my local magazine, so i have some idea what hes up to, and what he sayes. This other shower dont even have to report back to us , the people, to get their very nice renumeration, and expenses. What a crazy bleddy system, unless you are one of them, KT

Re: EU elections
Their sons trying to get on the bandwagon as well first in this country then you wait to see how long before he tries for an MEP. The money is astronomical and then the expences on top and the pension is one that you can only dream of.
It would appear they dont have to do all that much to collect it either. I suppose its better than working for a living.

Re: EU elections
OK , here we have everyone from love Europe , live in Europe and loathe Europe , I am one of those who will have a chance to cast a vote for Nigel Farage to represent me in Brussels , but UKIP has been branded Europe’s laziest party after figures revealed its MEPs top the skivers’ league.Leader Nigel Farage has the fifth worst attendance record out of all 752 MEPs.His anti-European Union party sidekicks Godfrey Bloom and deputy leader Paul Nuttall, who each pocket more than £60,000 a year in Brussels salaries, plus huge expenses are even lazier.Mr Bloom is second only to Ireland’s Brian Crowley in missed votes — attending less than a third. Mr Nuttall sits fourth last, voting just 46% of the time. The figures,, mean UKIP has three of the top five laziest MEPs.Overall, the anti-EU party’s 11 MEPs miss a third of all votes — double the European average. I think that when I cast my votes , I at least want to think the guy I vote in is going to work there for me , and put an oar in when the legislation is not in my interest , so Nigel , love him or hate him Farage , not a cross from me

Re: EU elections
EU None of these MPs are doing anything for the UK other than sell us down the river. Giving away British freedoms that have been fought for over centuries. As for UKIP (my chosen party) why do thy stand at the EU elections,?? after all they don't agree with Europe. The Kinnock's are no better than our own 2 Jags Prescot, turncoats. And the Tories lap dog liberals will give everything British, to our European masters. The Tories will shout there mouths of, then do as they are told by the faceless unelected bureaucrats. Maybe BNP would be a better vote for Europe. The only way to curb Europe is to elect a strong anti European Party to Westminster. Rant over
