Re: Herr Scouse
I have read differing reports on this over the years. The church, of course denying it.
What I have not read is, if true what would be the reason or motive behind it?

#64... Louis if you are referring to why the Vatican allowed them passports, it was to assist them to leave the country. I am again only going on heresay the same as most on here can do, that is all we have to go on. But there has been plenty written on the subject. Nazi Germany wasnt condemned by everyone, and even had its sympathisers inside the Holy walls. I may be wrong but Eichman may have left Europe via the assistance of the Vatican. There was talk after the war that the pope had no choice, there is always a choice. The Jewish nazi catcher a long time dead now and forget his name, had an account of all the well known German war criminals that were required for retribution. Dont suppose many followed on from where he left off, but there must be some. Cheers John S.The well known nazi catcher was Simon w...... something or other JSPS may have been Simon Weissman

Re: Herr Scouse
John here is what you are after but there has never been any proof that Adolph lived here,a story made up by his sister in law to sell her book.
