Just caught up to you larrikins. Haven't had such a good belly laugh for quite a while but fella's gotta be careful at my age with belly laughs.
Why not boil that stoker.
Oh yes, a larrikin cobber of mine used to travel a lot out of Singapore. At Madras - or whatever they call Madras now - airport he went up to the info counter and asked the lady there if she would page his friend. Right away over the loud speakers came "Paging Mr Argus tuft, paging Mr Argus tuft".
Over and out.

Snow Horse
Brian why not buy your neighbour some of Tesco's BEEFBURGERS, Tesco have discovered that their beefburgers as well as containing horsemeat also contained PORK, the spokesman for Tesco's said he was disturbed and upset that some of his customers may have inadvertently eaten pork which goes against their cultural beliefs and apologises to them. (will we now see Tescos burnt to the ground as it has insulted the prophet and his followers, or did they secretly enjoy the unusual flavour )No specific apology for those who do not eat horsemeat, the majority of the indigenous population. Of course the French are overjoyed at the variable content and consider it a bonus.

I was in ASDA yesterday afternoon.
I thought I was on a tour of Islamabad. Half the food part of the Store is now called `Halal City` I asked the covered up lady there if she had a leg of Pork with crackling on, She just said `Your kind of food is in the next aisle.`
I really must think about emmigrating. .........................But where???
Cheers
Brian.

this could put 100s of halalbutchers out of work andcreate a massive increase on the benefit system unless the butchers went to another halal country and halaled there i am very worried because if the benefit system pays out more our taxes and rates will surely go up is any body else as worried as me

I think you would be hard pressed to find much meat available that isn't halal even if it isn't labeled as such. Lots of the big food and pub chains only use halal as do lots of sporting venues, hospitals and schools. I believe but not sure that KFC is all halal. 90% of New Zealand lamb was halal but not labeled that way in case it put buyers off. Ever wondered why you no longer get that juice in the bottom of the roasting tin? Halal! It also means that if you are not a ****** you will find it difficult if not impossible to get a job as a slaughterman.
