    Default International visitors.

What is the most visited country in the world?

    China
    U.S.A.
    France
    or Italy ?

According to The World Tourism Assoc.'s latest figures. France, it reached 79.5 million visitors in 2011.

The top ten: France, U.S.A., China, Spain, Italy, U.K. (excludes Boltonistan), Turkey, Germany, Mexico and Malaysia.

    Cheers, Rodney

France, could that be because they have the lagest European Moslem populations. So I ask are these visitors just that, or are they on the way to staying permanantly?

The ones in France are in transit to Boltonistan.
Here we have many many International Visitors.
Rumanians, Latvians, Poles, Afghans, Algerians, Pakistanis, Indians, Chinese, Somalis, Sudanese, Nigerians,
and many others , The big problem is they dont go back. The land of milk and honey. They dont have to blow themselves up, they are in Paradise already.
    I despair.

    Captain,

No disrespect meant, but Boltistani was excluded as you suspected. One has to LEAVE the country (Emirship of Boltonstani) to qualify as a visitor. Now I suggest an H.M. Customs and Immigration office be located say in Manchester and entry stamp those whom merely use the Emirship as a caravanserai. Now you get full credit for 'visitors' to Boltonstani and membership in the top ten. The downside is a greater influx of tourists and /or the morbid curious.

    John,

My guess is it is a based on a count of visitors (tourists), immigrants or illegal immigrants are not counted, if they were, we (U.S.A.) would beat France hands down, thanks in the main to Mexico.

if the departments actually worked together we might get somewhere immigration and police pick over stayers up and then they bail them how many do you think turn up for their hearing they just go missing again? my wife worked in Canada in the early 70s two days after her visa expired there was the knock on the door her employer forgot to do the paperwork and she was threatened for deportation a genuine mistake but here some work here years after visa's are overdue? nobody seems to be working on the same page in the UK?jp

Brian, as the unoficcial Emir of Boltonstan have you ever considered claiming UDI. Smith did it in Rhodesia and it worked for a while. Fifference now is you could ask for overseas aid. Then Boltonstan could join all the other stans, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc
