Got fed up with calls all from Indians, so when one called I asked him how is the weather in Kiddiepore dock, and he told me. Same time the nest night, just said hows the and he apologized and said he would not call again.

You should have invited her in, that would have flummoxed her, as no one has done it before

We used to get Magnet Windows or kitchens call on a regular basis you could set the clock by them. Usually a Friday late afternoon. She used to be quite polite when they called but her voice would start to take on an edge, please don't call again as I have told you repeatedly we are not interested in your product.Best one was the last one. My wife answered the phone and well she let rip down the phone. Next thing all you could hear was laughing in the back ground as they told her she was connected to a conference call. She slammed the phone down, livid as her language would have made a sailor blush. I have to be honest it was all I could do not to burst out laughing myself. Strangely enough they never called again.

As I have said before I have kept them on the doorstep and explain to them that as they were set up by a man who had convictions in the United States for fraud and did jail time for it but I doubted the authenticity when it came to be a good basic religion and that as they were under a deluded Canon then if they wanted to stand with me I would pray for their Souls to be rescued they actually went so fast that I could feel the Breeze as they ran down the drive

They are getting more and more sophisticated, got two calls this week one from what appeared to be a London number, the other Scottish. London started with 020, Scottish 01475.

How is this for getting it wrong. Phone goes this morning. I answered it and this guy says Hi Mr McColl it is Peter here from Arcad'Immo is it okay if I call on Saturday between 4 & 5 pm. No thanks and I put the phone down. I went out to the garden and the next thing is my Mrs is giving me a rocket. Have you just told the estate agents no they cannot have a viewing with a client tomorrow? Oop's, he is coming tomorrow wife has told me to make myself scarce. Normally the wife deals with them so I did not know who Peter was.

Similar to me , last year had an op in Newport hospital, at the time multi ops being cancelled. after my op sat at home , phone rings, Mr Tindell , how are you today, just about to say pi££ off, when suddenly realised it was the lovey Indian surgeon who did my op, phew, could have dropped a real bullock there, kt

Some of these overseas call centres use VOIP iPhone connection over the internet when you do that you can put a fake number in front of the call to give the impression that you are local or London based the technology is quite easy to do and this is why if you try to use a universal block on overseas calls they can get round it by using this method I have a Call Blocker system that when she get a call from them you can log in the number and it'll block further calls from that number . This is dramatically reduce the amount of calls I get but you seem to have to try and stay technologically one step ahead of them
