You should have invited her in, that would have flummoxed her, as no one has done it before

Re: Cold Calling.
We used to get Magnet Windows or kitchens call on a regular basis you could set the clock by them. Usually a Friday late afternoon. She used to be quite polite when they called but her voice would start to take on an edge, please don't call again as I have told you repeatedly we are not interested in your product.Best one was the last one. My wife answered the phone and well she let rip down the phone. Next thing all you could hear was laughing in the back ground as they told her she was connected to a conference call. She slammed the phone down, livid as her language would have made a sailor blush. I have to be honest it was all I could do not to burst out laughing myself. Strangely enough they never called again.

Re: Cold Calling.
They are getting more and more sophisticated, got two calls this week one from what appeared to be a London number, the other Scottish. London started with 020, Scottish 01475.

Re: Cold Calling.
How is this for getting it wrong. Phone goes this morning. I answered it and this guy says Hi Mr McColl it is Peter here from Arcad'Immo is it okay if I call on Saturday between 4 & 5 pm. No thanks and I put the phone down. I went out to the garden and the next thing is my Mrs is giving me a rocket. Have you just told the estate agents no they cannot have a viewing with a client tomorrow? Oop's, he is coming tomorrow wife has told me to make myself scarce. Normally the wife deals with them so I did not know who Peter was.
