During the Covid pandemic the earth started to be a better place for wild life and nature. Nearly no cars on the road the air was cleaner no planes taking off every second of everyday and the sound of silence was relaxing. But I was a lucky one as I do not live on the 20th floor of a two bedroomed flat with a bunch of screaming kids.
If we all try and clean up the planet by becoming more ECO friendly it has to be better for everyone.

Jim my sister in Wales sent me a letter a long time ago to say that when they opened the new London Airport; within a few months the vapour trails started to band together and they had more rain than ever, then after the beginning of the lock downs from Covid and the lack of planes overhead the sky's cleared up. Make me laugh when World leaders talk about Climate Change as they all charge about the world in their Jets.

I am in total agreance with a cleaner world devoid of all rubbish.
If those in charge tell it to me that way I will agree, but do not attempt to con me with all the other jargon they put out.

Saw an article yesterday written by Al Gore in 2001 where he claimed that by 2013 the Nort Pole would be only rock with no ice or snow, all gone.

Well in July I was some 200 kilometers inside the artic circle and can assure him there is still plenty of ice and snow there.

#63 Looks like Al did not know there is no rock at the North Pole even if all the ice melted at present it would be about 4000m from sea level to the seabed so we would need some extreme global warming to evaporate that amount of water, think he maybe meant Antarctica which could leave rock if all the ice melted which it probably will do at some time but whether it is in the next 200 years or 200 thousand years who can tell we will not be here to see it.

Al Gore in my eyes only took up the mantle of climate change on his unsuccessful attempt at becoming President of the USA , he had to have something to fill the vacuum He would have been ideal advertisement for that group.JS

Scientists/Astronomers believe that there are 5000 inhabitable planets in the galaxy, the nearest being 100m light years away.

Stand bye for the travel companies to start selling trips to prospective tourists and land buyers, there are enough idiots around to send their money in.

Read that article on the net Vernon, very interesting I thought.

But of interest today, a new article witch says the rate of global warming is slowing, much is said because China is now using clean energy at a greater rate.
It then went on to say how many new coal fired power stations China is building.!!!!!!!!!!!

#66. The main train of thought and evidence is that our own world started the same way , all water and all life as we know it evolutionised from it. And came from it ashore as land appeared over the millions of years of the world appearing as it does today . Even in our lifetime man has changed size wise all you have to do is look at the average height and girth of 100 years ago and what it is today , and a 100 years is nothing. Cappy can be excused as he always ate too much. Eating potatoes as a stable ( should of maybe said staple diet but you get the gist ) diet does put the weight on they say. JS
