Re: The Police State ?
Victoria, latest news he had the Virus before the march feeling very crook on the Sunday morning saying he was wearing a mask in the march.
Six of the protest leaders have so far been fined for organising the march.
But do these protestors know anything of the world?
I ask that as looking at the nightly news of late showing countries where the virus is bad.
They are countries not far removed from what they were some 2,000 years ago.
For various reasons they have not progressed, towns where they still have to go to the well for water, towns where the top 'preacher' fort want of a better word controls them.
In Cambodia some years ago, could not believe that we were in the 20th century looking at some of the places there.
The world is still a very divided planet, always has been and I suggest it will be in 2,000 years time, if it still exists!
To my mind two things are mainly responsible for much of the worlds problems, religion and greed.

Re: The Police State ?
I had an email from a friend. with some excellent ideas of the cause of all this trouble. I feel that I must agree.
...……….
I am afraid though that their argument that is hidden in the realms of the racial discrimination of blacks, is just a ruse by the ultra Marxist establishment. and their goal is soley to bring down the established government of this country and ultimately destroy us ever leaving the European union.
sounds very far fetched doesn't it but it is a fact ? Soros a Hungarian billionaire bank rolls part of their operation just check Soros out on the internet you will be shocked by what his and his buddies are about ,
but one question you should ask Why have these anarchists not pulled down the statue of Karl Marx, who is responsible for more than twenty million deaths by his doctrine, and was also a racist against blacks and Jews,
also out of one hundred and seventy deaths in British police custody, only thirteen percent where black,

Re: The Police State ?
When an eminent Scottish professor of history, a black person himself, states that the removal of all these statues etc is wrong as their existence causes us to pause and think about the history behind the person and by removing them you lose that reminder it's makes you realise that occasionally the voice of sense and reason can still be heard over the baying rabble.

What next, Bloody sad. Why did the Jewish Community stop Auschwitz being demolished. Because they never wanted the holocaust forgotten by future generations.

Re: The Police State ?
All traces of gravity are to be removed from the Earth after Sir Isaac Newton was revealed to have historic links to slave trading! Gravity will be cancelled from this evening, whereupon everyone and everything will start floating around, followed soon after by all celestial bodies collapsing as Einstein’s Theory of Relativity becomes null and void!

Re: The Police State ?
If we remover all the statues, books, movies, TV programs etc how will future generations learn from the mistakes of the past/
With no history to learn from there is every possibility they will at some time commit the same acts again.
If you want to show future generations what you consider were the bad things of generations ago then you need something tenable to do so.

Victoria, Penny Lane is a street famous worldwide thanks to The Beatles 1967 hit, but the south Liverpool street owes its name to an outspoken Liverpool slave ship owner and staunch anti-abolitionist.
James Penny was a Liverpool merchant who made his money from the transportation of slaves.
Penny was one of several traders from Liverpool who spoke in favour of the slave trade at a parliamentary committee.
Penny told the committee that he had invested in eleven voyages of ships carrying slaves from Africa to the West Indies. His ships were between 200-300 tons and usually carried between 500 to 600 slaves in a single voyage. Of these approximately two thirds of the slaves were male and one third female. The more of there ancestors past they damage and destroy the less there will be to remember there plight, A lot of people on Merseyside have made complaints over the likes of this, It is going to turn people who where otherwise sympathetic to there cause lets say less sympathetic Regards Terry.

Re: The Police State ?
The press officer at the International Slavery museum who first made the claim that Penny Lane was named after James Penny in 2006 – he left the museum around 2014.
For some years now the lane has also become known for a darker period of Liverpool’s history. An internet search of ‘Penny Lane’ will in no time instruct you that it was named after James Penny, a Liverpool slave merchant, but was it really?

Re: The Police State ?
Penny Lane was never named after James Penny the industrialist/Slave trader, Penny Lane was named after a Toll Bridge which charged a penny to cross and became known as Penny Lane.
That's according to Liverpool historian Laurence Westgaph
