Re: Virtual Ship
Hi Mike,
Great post. I would like to sign on. Have you a vacancy for a steward? I have plenty of experience but I still miss a deck under my feet.
Keep in touch and best wishes for a good crew and a safe voyage.

Re: Virtual Ship
Always fancied being an "artist" but was too young at the time. Cap wouldn't let me buy a case for my 17th. Pick me up on Deal Pier and let's go to Honfleur and Rouen at least!!!

Re: Virtual Ship
One of the most all time populat threads started on here some Years back now.
Yes many of the older ones we had are either just not Posting any longer for reasons of their own, others as many on here know have crossed the Bar, what a shame.
This Thread kept us Alive, grinning and groneing, and having the time of our lives.
It would be great to try and really revive this Thread for the sake and memory of those gone, but surely not forgotten.
The Ship has been in dry Dock for some time now, and getting ready to set sail soon again, we are therefore hopefull that as many as possible will sign on old and new Crew alike, the New will find lots to learn though as she is a strict Ship, with a very deep Bilge that houses those who dare to step out of line! LOL
So come aboard all he hearty souls , and join us on our soon to be around the World trip, if you dare!
Report to the Captain personally! LOL

Re: Virtual Ship
Cappy says he’s not re-signing if he has to share a cabin with Thomas who he says snores , and he wasn’t paid loss of doss last time round . Thomas on the other hand says when Cappy took his seaboots off he thought he was back in Bombay. They were only compatible when they were in the bar and someone else was buying. Think the old tally clerks office on deck should’ve converted back to a cabin for either one , could leave the desk in as Cappy likes to sit and tally up his cash . JS

Now lads don't let me make this trip alone please sign on. Seeing we're in no hurry and can pull in anywhere, I'll make Tilbury our first port of call before the pubs close. So lets get started and make sure none of us back tract. May I suggest we go to 'La Continent' and then work down thru the 'Med' and around the world east to west? Mike
