we can roll the frame but not the plate , Consett Iron Company , we were taken there as apprentices to watch how it was done, British Steel shut it in 1980 , I believe Dalzell Steel near Glasgow has some capacity , It is owned by Liberty not Tata. Scunthorpe is mothballed regarding plate , but rolls joist etc . SAD but lack of demand shut it down , we buy from Germany instead
