That's two thirds of my name but it wasn't me unless your from Brisbane. john William...S
However did know of a john Williams but he was with RFA as far as I know, was from Tynemouth and died a number of years ago, would of been about 81 if still alive. Regards JWS

Ref. to #3... Have been in touch with someone who knew the John Williams of my awareness. Lived in Tynemouth as stated previous. In latter years from 1970 onwards was on foreign flag for terms mainly of 2 years duration. Am not aware of him being in Port Line however as knew of him much later, His father was also at sea and died in kobe japan a long time ago now. John the son died over 5 years ago now. Was told by friend living in Tynemouth that he has a daughter living in Albany Western Australia which was also news to me. As is probably a different John Williams than the one you seek, the best of luck elsewhere. Regards JWS
