The builder of this yacht stated on the net the other day that it was unsinkable.
A company "White Star' made a similar comment in 1912!!

Talking about Yachts the sail training vessel the Leeuwin was hit by a container ship today in Fremantle harbour whilst berthed alongside the passenger ship berth on the south side of the harbour . By the photos on tv she looks ready for the scrapyard. Cheers JS

John, White Star line never made the claim that Titanic was unsinkable.
White Star line advertising for the Olympic class ships was (Largest and finest steamers in the world)
It is a myth plain and simple.
I can find no contemporary evidence that the Titanic was regarded as virtually unsinkable until after she had sunk ... With hindsight we have created the myth because it makes a more dramatic metaphor.
