#30 only one thing wrong with that remedy John , for small island make that large island , otherwise will get the reputation of overcrowding and mistreatment which the media would be quick to make a headline out of. cheers JS

Another stabbing yesterday, just a few minutes away from the Hainault murder. It was in Whalebone Lane, Dagenham, that's the road that takes you up to Hainault. Some reports claim it was a shooting as well. What a lovely area that used to be when I was growing up, but alas, not any longer it seems.

    John.
We send illegals to islands at great cost to the country why not these dogs, we have plenty of uninhabited islands wouldn't need guards just cut down any trees to stop them making a boat, and air drop food, no need to pay guards.

The guards are already there they call them Grey Nurses, so they have medical attention as well so shouldn’t complain. JS

Must be catching all the knives.
Another one yesterday in the shopping center we use.
Guy stole a knife from a shop then went on a spree.
But stopped by two lads from one of the hair- dresser shops.

    It has been
suggested here in our media, after the sword number, that UK police should carry fire arms as they do here in Oz.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

I'd be a bit nervous seeing some of our coppers with guns. On the odd occasion that we do actually see one in real life, they're usually wimpy looking, short, fat, skinny and lanky, and would probably shoot by rather than shoot a felon.
Yes we do have some great cops, but are few and far between. We even have some that drive around in a gay coloured police car.

Bit of an update on that one. It's locally claimed to be a drive by incident, most likely drug gang related. The only drugs you had around there in my day was cough mixture.

Most of these stabbings and shootings are either gang or drug related. Is there not or was recently a police officer shot dead some asshole and has since been charged with murder. It was about 3 months ago ? a lot of fire arms officers handed their weapons in and refused to serve in Armed response units.

On the. News another stabbing in Australia, this time in Perth, supposedly the attacker had been radicalised.
Most of us living in the north would avoid London like the plague, especially so after they re-elected that useless mayor. I would love to have a staycation there to visit the museums and the palaces but cost coupled with the crime levels puts me off.
