Re: Hostages
Over the years Doug there have been individuals who have made a point of belittling the UK but are careful to hide their true identity. Those that have attempted to do this I look on them as Q ships , and should be answered in a like manner that they try to impose their anti British feelings . They are obvious and always give themselves away , as leopards never change their spots. I have no feelings about them whatsoever but will always take what they say and throw it out with the dregs from the teapot. Or the bed chamber or in my case the urine bottle. Cheers JS

Funny that since certain people have stopped posting or have been removed there are a lot more new and old members posting again.
Don't rock the boat John the site is a much happier place today than it was a few months ago.

hi john sabourn #25
good afternoon, your observations are always spot on, But it would take only for him to glance in the mirror to see whom is responsible for those whom are more worthy and intelligent purveyors of the written word that have been removed because of his endless frivolous complaints.

Re: Hostages
#19 I agree with you to certain extent John . What’s happening in the Middle East is a cumulation of Hatred, and despotic regimes taking advantage of malleable factions in the region. On the one hand you have Hamas and Islamic state homicidal Fanatics Hi-jacking the Palestinian people’s politics fuelled by historic injustices. The other side are lead by a morally bankrupt politician who has taken action over a despicable act of terrorism (rightly In my opinion ) but has in turn Hi- Jacked the retaliation to impose a solution sought by him and his Cohorts of a single state of Israel by eliminating the right of the Palestinians to live in a 2 state solution.
In summary the leadership on both sides are as despicable as each other. The senseless slaughter of both factions must stop. And it may require a world peace council to bring that about.Maybe that could be seed for a New effective United Nations , without the power of vetoes which create Log jams an ineffective solutions. We should tell the politicians to get up off their proverbial whassozes and get on with it
Just a thought
Doug

Utter Rubbish
the site is the poorer in information gathering for people who are looking for lost or forgotten relatives who served in the MN than ever it was.
