Re: Channel taxi service
John #139, I do understand that there is a company who is converting containers into accommodation.
Maybe one for this family out in the wilds somewhere so his daughter cannot be seen.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Channel taxi service
John, it is a popular building method now in the UK. Some of them are amazing and very economical way of creating a nice comfortable home.
Especially if you are doing a self build.homes.jpg

I was living in a semi-fitted out 20' container in the 1980's whilst in Ethiopia, no aircon! it was warm! but at least it was secure

Sorry but I cannot see the relevance to my post regarding a " large " house in my post #139. As i understand it , the house had 3 bedrooms but still wasn't good enough. The point I tried to make is that asylum seekers and immigrants are given free access to
things that ordinary people are denied - and for free. What do you think of the odds in being given planning permission to build
a church of Scotland kirk in Saudi Arabia. But the reverse happens here and if one raises objection , one is called a racist. It's not
only here but also in the UK as I understand. I've given up trying to understand.

John Cassels, my reply was to John from Oz post #141 and had nothing to do with #139.

Re: Channel taxi service
I have bother in law living on the south coast.
He tell me many of the hotels that do little business during winter are being used to house the illegals.
What happens come the summer when full fee paying clients want the rooms??
