Normally I don't get involved in these disputes, but when you posted that image of the Swastika using it to take a swipe at another member was, tomy mind bloody disgusting
and inexcusable, there is no place for that symbol on a British Merchant Navy site,so many lives lost with tat symbol overlooking their deaths, Gas Chambers, Stalag's, and the
civilians being bombed, and our own Merchant Seamen then our service men. Enough said, that's it from me, Adios. JFC.

As regards turning back on 'old country' guess there are a few, like myself and mate DJD G who on getting our tickets, me Mate Dave 2nd Mate were told by new deck officer manager at Furnes withy, with a very sneering tone, you 2 will be relieving for a long time . NOt wanting to sit at home, we both looked elsewhere. He ended up with New Zealand Air as a navigator and I with Mollers of London and Hong KOng.Best moves we ever made. WE should of gone back and thanked him, as when UK joined EU all our jobs would have gone anyway.
