House construction at a 24 year high.
Obviously the demand is there, hope it can be met.
UK will do OK on it's own without the draw strings of EU, they ae now their won masters.

Re: vauxhalls merseyside
Charging points for many in London and suburbs will be a problem.
How will they charge from home when all are parked on the road, extension leads for others to trip[ over?

Re: vauxhalls merseyside
As you say, lots of older accommodation in UK does not have a garage and must park on road. Also, how many apartment blocks in England have enough parking for all the tenants?? Big problem hear in Oz on Gold Coast. We are in a new block and the cost of upgrading the electrical supply would be so costly that a lot of tenants would have to sell to cover body corporate costs.
