    Hi Alex....
I see this is your First Post...Welcome Aboard!

I also see you are on the Pacific Coast of the USA.... I am also on the Pacific coast....of Chile.... (Well: Just inland from Coronel.)
(Battle of Coronel 1914...not sure if I can post links but Wikipedia covers it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Coronel. The RN got a well bloodied nose but "revenge" was complete, ironically in the Falklands, later.)

As you say "...it means a great deal to many who quietly remember and still care deeply." I hope we can all contribute to the continuance of this excellently-run site...... I for one...appreciate it greatly.

And yes... I often fly my Red Duster here ...Just as I flew the Flag of St.George recently..... and the Union Flag this week for VE Day......and explain to the locals just why I do so. They seem to appreciate the brief history lesson!

(Although I suspect a few walk away thinking.... "That crazy old Gringo and his flags"!)

    Cheers.
    Steve.
