    This ship. Loaded with ammonium nitrate, has been sailing around Europe trying to find a p.o.r that will take it in order for repairs to be carried out.

    We carried that stuff for years and I never recall anyone expressing any concern for the crew. Also worked with it in Ethiopia, can burn your skin especially in salt laden air.

    Wasn't that massive explosion in Galveston Texas many year ago caused by the same cargo?

    Also the explosion in Beirut warehouse, but what did they expect, they were welding inside the warehouse! Doh!

    If I recall correctly, the ships funnel landed around ten miles inland. As for the one in Beirut Ivan, even the Israeli's haven't com up with a bigger one.

    Ruby was welcomed into the port of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk where her cargo is being trans-shipped. Ruby will then be made ready for repairs.

    MV RUBY, is currently in drydock in Jarrow, I look at vessels in the Tyne virtually every day but never noticed this one arrive, and not seen anything in local news.
