Zach Tidy’s request.
Can’t get on to his post direct only on the blog and can’t answer that. For his info and anyone else’s if the person he is looking for is in naval uniform then his collar will have 3 distinct seperate white lines around the edge.,These are to remember Nelson’s victory’s at the battle of Copenhagen , the Nile, and Trafalgar . The collar on the photograph looks to me like a broad gold one , they don’t call me Mr McGoo for nothing.JS

Eeh Ba Gum John lad, time for another trip to Specsavers, the collar has three white stripes, and if photo taken during war would only have HMS on it and no ship's name

Re: Zach Tidy’s request.
Know that Ivan is what I said previously or near enough but I have just seen the new photo showing the 3 white lines after I tried to answer the blog which believe I am not able to , as don’t send any in myself and rarely read Too many adverts starting to appear. Cheers JS.

Hi John
Kep an eye on that blog you may be invited to meet a nice Geisha girl.
My last saying about the cap is I know my brother-in-law when he came on leave had to take the ships name on his hatband off.
