Sabbatical
I am sorry to be taking leave of this site.
I have never read so much socialist claptrap in my life as I have in read in the past few days.
Its supposed to be an MN site, not a party political rant for the ill informed lefties.

Re: Sabbatical
Hi Vic.
I,m sorry if some of my posts have upset you, but you must realize that when we were at sea we all had differences of opinion, just ignore what you think is not to your taste and just post on what you enjoy.

Re: Sabbatical
I would second that Vic what Des says . Just ignore which is only a button to press. When difference of opinions re religion or politics is best just to keep a low profile. There is no winners only losers. Sometimes you are handing the trophy to he who you are arguing with , this will only give him satisfaction , and will continue on his next victim who he thinks he can brow beat. There are not many of the old school left so your posts are always appreciated. Regards JS.

Re: Sabbatical
Vic, spitting the dummy, come on you are better than that.
Remember the days sitting on number four hatch putting the world to rights, this is just a continuation of that.
Not just MN talk all the time, so please mate reconsider your options.

Re: Sabbatical
There is a general election taking place in the UK Vic, every time you turn on the TV or open a newspaper the stories featured will be political with pundits from left and right pushing their views and opinions. Read and listen to those you agree with and ignore the ones you don't.

Hello Vic
A Sabbatical. Just a Sabbatical. Let the storm pass, as it always does. Back to calm seas and a prosperous voyage.
All will be well

Re: Sabbatical
Hi vic
I have enjoyed your posts and interactions and value your input. I agree there has been a lot of political posts which push a left wing bias .Maybe a better word would shove (as in down one’s throat) the left view is as it always has been supporting Trotskyite doctrines that support a revolutionary approach to Bollitics.
Let’s get back to a more even Keel and ignore these crackerjacks as they will soon disappear up their own tail shaft . MN site will get back to normal and keep people advised of the times when people went to Sea on voyages of discovery and adventure which was much more enlightening than the rubbish than some of the politics these Numpties on our site are trying to push.
Please reconsider your Sabbatical
