    Hi John,
I opened it OK and I don't have facebook. But either my eyes are worse that I thought but it looks like a Port Line ship rater than Blue Star.

They did merge and it was BSL that took over Port Line forming Blue Star/Port Line
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Blue Star, Port Line (Management) Ltd was a joint venture between the two companies looking to pool their resources on the ever shrinking reefer trade between Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Containers were taking over. Port Line remained under Cunard owner ship throughout.

To break into the far east shipping trade Blue Star, Port Line and Cunard formed a new company, Atlas Line.
Port Line's red funnel was repainted blue and Atlas Line painted on the hull.
I was on Port St. Lawrence at the time, we were the first ship on the far east, Oz and NZ run and away nine months, a good trip. Do not know if this venture was successful.

There was a distinct similarity with both.
But who came first, most likely Newcastle Brown
