70s/80s I was in Ulsan, South Korea at the Hyundai shipyard a few times great place really enjoyed it and the nightlife was also good, I think it took a lot at that time to beat the bars in Kaoshung, Taiwan though, or Singapore but Singapore was very expensive. Also liked Nagoya Japan but that was a bit expensive. I met very pleasant and accommodating young ladies in all these places. I heard of Grant Road in Bombay but never made it there.

A few that were actually Night Clubs in and around the South African Ports , as many knew , were in fact Brothels as well under cover. One that stand out is the old Catacoombs where one could Pick up a Hooker for a small sum.
But besides those there were also the Illegal Brothels of Cape Town , quite a few around in the days!

Think of the worst sh-thole and times by 3, then you will be somewhere near Grant Rd.

The Catacombs, who could forget that place, a brothel in disguise but not very good at that bit.
You could get anything there, even some the medicos had not yet heard of.
Mate of mine, poor old Ginger, hooked up with a bit of black ham there, not sure how as Apartheid was in force then, but how knows all manner of odd things went on there.
Anyway what ever he got took the medicos almost six months to cure.

Then in Las Palmas there was a bar where at the rear services were on offer, for a price of course, and the majority of the lads also got a present there.
