Prince Line.
I had forgotten all about this company,I was having a pint or two on Friday this guy mentioned he was in Valparaiso,i said what PSNC boat were you on,he said none he was on the Black Prince on charter to PSNC.I've just been having a look at this company and they certainly lost a few ships through fire and collisions. They lost the Asiatic Prince lost without trace 1928,1 through collision,5 through fire and 1 sunk. These figures seem quite high to me,did anybody on here ever sail with this company?if so what type of ships were they.
Regards.
Jim.

Re: Prince Line.
I did a couple of trips on the Cyprian Prince out of Manchester and London to the Meddy, Malta, Cyprus, Israel etc. and called at Almeria, Spain homeward. Nice little three hatch job, accommodation down aft for the AB's not much cop but good feeder and plenty of ovie's. Carried passengers as well.

Re: Prince Line.
Never sailed with prince lines but did a bit with a lady who told me she was a princess, well we were both a little under the weather at the time.

Re: Prince Line.
My Dad, William Goodall was an engineer on the Cyprian Prince; joined her on 18/2/1957 in Liverpool and left her on 14/7/1957 in London at Poplar. Do you remember him at all?
His son Cliff.
