Re: Prince Line.
I was an apprentice with Furness WIthy and officers were switched between Furness and Prince line and ad same superintendents. Best master I sailed witg was P D F Owens, who had been with Prince and was Master of Pacific Reliance. Relieved on several Prince boats and was 3rd. Mate on Scottish Prince in 195n7/8.
Prince line actually owned a lot of vessels carrying Furness funnel.
