Hoist the blood red ensign high !
And let us not forget

In courage, blood and sweat !

Re: Merchant Navy Day
Remembering my father and father in law who both served in the M.N. during the war.
Also the many brave men who went back to sea time after time knowing the danger they faced
R.I.P.

Re: Merchant Navy Day
It was rather lonely paying my respects today at the local memorial but the Torry Community Council had laid a wreath in their memory.

Re: Merchant Navy Day
Here in Victoria not possible flor any ceremony to mark this very special day due to lock down.
But in my heart and mind was able to remember the sacrifices made so that I could be the free person I am today.

Happy daze John in Oz.
